Description : We are a fast growing Oil and Gas Services Company with demonstrated operational excellence and a reputable client record of over 15 years. We seek to recruit a HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST• Developing and implementing environmental strategies and action plans for clients • Advising on all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation of oil and gas and renewable energy;• Knowledge on compliance with environmental legislation;• Auditing, analyzing and reporting environmental performance to external clients and regulatory bodies;• Carrying out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce an organization’s environmental risks and financial costs;• Promoting and raising awareness of the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice, on corporate, ethical and social responsibility;• Managing the development and implementation of an environmental management system;• Coordinating consultancy in areas such as: quality management systems environmental management systems • Training staff at all levels in environmental issues and responsibilities;• Participating in environmental training;• Writing environmental reports, assuming the lead responsibility with the company; • Coordinating water, soil and effluent analysis• Coordinating environmental baseline / seabed and well test studies• Liaising with relevant government agencies and ensure compliance with government regulations relating to health, safety, security and environmental matters • Marketing QHSE business for the company as necessary • Perform other duties that may be assigned to him from time to time.
Qualifications : • B Sc. Or equivalent in any of the physical or environmental science disciplines • Dependable and self directed • Computer skills (MS Office suit) • Able to work under pressure, Diligent and decisive • Articulate and able to write concisely
