Can Another Political Party Win The 2011 Presidential seat
  • The way things are still going on, Something tells me that there is no other political party that can win our current ruling party.
even the fact that the four 2007 presidential aspirants Atiku, Tinubu, Bafarawa And Buhari have decided to unite and fight against election fraud and malpractice. Are they doing it for their selves or the country.
    What Your View?

    Edikan.
  • Concerning the opposition, it is true that they are weak and there is absolutely nobody that can mount a credible challenge against the PDP in 2011 in my own opinion.

Concerning the sincerity of the politicians. It is actually difficult to predict them because Nigerian politicians will say and preach anything to get into power. We all know what happens thereafter.
  • That's Exactly what is my problem.
If they can just unite at least to erase out election fraud in Nigeria. it will be very great of them.
    Edikan

And how will they erase election fraud when people like Atiku practically invented election fraud?
  • Really that Atiku is a bad stuff?
  • As far as I know, he orchestrated the massive rigging during the 2003 elections thinking he would become president in 2007. But Baba had other plans.

That is exactly why I feel Atiku is only coming back for revenge. He is not really interested in the progress of this country. Why? because he helped milk it dry.
  • I now remember it. that was why he was fighting with OBJ.
  • Yeah, and Obasanjo showed him who the general was by bringing out Yar'Adua. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->
  • So do you think what OBJ did was right?
  • Well, he did what he thought was right...

... and what has become a thorn in the flesh for Nigerians today.
  • this politks thing na baba God go help 9ja o! as me i see am, pedepe go win am again & gud riddiance. at least we know they are thieves and nothing good will come from them. but anything atiku is involved with abegiiiiiiiiiiiiiii 4 me o na s-h-i-t. i no do and i no dey chop ngwano!!
  • Make we dey pray well.
  • i dont think any party will defeat the ruling party

  • Man, settle down o and wish you all the best in your endeavours over there.
  • AC may win! but Iam tired of the northerners
ruling even though Iam from the north
  • @drixie
Thank you. Hey drixie my inbox is being spammed! could you please disable whatever it is that sends notifications to my email whenever a post is made. I clicked the link that is suppose to stop them but am still getting the messages. It is ridiculous and annoying.
  • Oops. Sorry sir!

I'll take a look at it. I set it at default but it really should stop if you change the settings in your control panel.

Go to User Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit Posting Defaults -> Notify me upon replies by default : Click the no checkbox.

Let me know if that works. If it doesn't work, it might be the board trying to go haywire.
  • @drixie ok will try again n get back to you

@gideon, you are entitled to your opinion, however illogical it may be
  • murtala i hope ur back for real and we want the likes of dave, fola, godsarm etc to be back as well, thanks.
  • another political party can win if only the electoral body can join heads togather, and reduce the number of political parties in this nation.let them atleast make it two or latest three.if not no political party can win that seat in 2011 and 2015.a very good exmaple is usa, ghana etc.
  • Even if they join heads, mouths and noses together, what gives you the impression that they will beat PDP. In Nigeria, Its all about who rigs the most, not who can convince people the most.

bros, sorry oh, USA no follow, USA has over 37 political parties, but they have only 2 major parties Reps. and Dems. Kinda like what we have in nigeria where they are about 20 parties, but about 4 or 5 majors. only problem is that peoples mainly selfish interests do not let the see the possiblity of synergy!
  • The only kind of synergy you can find in Nigeria is that which is like a marriage between a lion and a sheep.
  • LMAO.... thats not called marriage... to the lion its called dinner...lol
  • Unless a non-partisan is brought on onboard, the party will create an ugly situation that will disrupt the 2011 elections...

  • I'll be surprised if an opposition political party wins 2011 election. But something tells me that if the PDP continues the way it is going, it will surely destroy itself. I see implosion of the party coming, just as it suffered a bad fate in Anambra State last February.

The spirit of imposition in the name of zoning arrangement is what may cause the proximate implosion of the PDP unless they learn from Anambra 2010!

Howdy, Stranger!
