2011: Who becomes Nigeria's president?

With uncertainty surrounding the where about of ailing President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua and the insistence on the PDP zoning arrangement, it has continued to be unclear if the self-acclaimed largest party in Africa will produce the next president.
Rumour mill is awash with Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida's renewed interest in the presidency in 2011. How he would emerge as PDP candidate for the election can only remain in the realm of the "miraculous".
As the opposition parties seem disunited, opposition political parties coming together to for formidable political force that could unseat the ruling PDP remains a tall dream. Worse is the inability of the opposition parties to form the much talked about Mega Political Party that could wrestle power from the current PDP government.
Repeatedly, the PDP leadership has maintained that Acting President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is disqualified from contesting the 2011 election for being from the Southern part of the country due to its zoning arrangement.
Who then becomes the country's president in 2011 election remains as uncertain as President Yar'Adua's health status!
