The National Assembly and the Probes

Postby openlids on Tue Aug 19, 2008 6:26 pm

I really wonder where we are headed in the country .... so many ongoing probes but where do they end? In fact what the the intents of these probes .... a tea party? cheap publicity stunts? I've had Elumelu say that once his report is implemented there would be no more corruption in Nigeria! Meanwhile, we've ceded Bakassi under the sleeping eyes of the National assemby who have abrogated their duties since the signing of the Green tree agreement. Is it not time we leave Obasonjo and the past and live to address the now and future? Abeg!

Thank you my brother, the most painful part of the whole exercise is that whatever is in that report will not even see the light of the day. Just like the ones we have had in the past. God save NIGERIA

Actually, the most painful part to me is that this present national assembly will do nothing other than probe the last administration thereby setting a trend. The next national assembly will also probe the wrong doings of this present administration and so on.

Our lawmakers have seen a very good method of making the populace think they are working while they are carrying out their personal vendettas and collecting allowances for it.
